Victorian Gardens: The Central Park Amusement Park
Did you know there was an amusement park right in the heart of Central Park called Victorian Gardens? Central Park, NYC, has featured this attraction since the summer of 2003. This Central Park amusement park occupies the Wollman Rink during the summer months. Inspired by a small group of innovators, Victorian Gardens was created with the idea to transform the 50,000-square-foot ice rink into a year-long entertainment destination by adding rides, games, and more! All of the Central Park amusement park rides are designed for children ages 2-12 and their adult guardians, making this park the perfect spot for family fun.
Victorian Gardens has 11 rides, including unique favorites like the Rainbowheel, Rockin' Tug, Aeromax, and Barnyard. There's a small family roller coaster called the Mini Mouse and a relatively new attraction called Big Foot, which elevates the riders high enough to feel like they're driving a monster truck! At Victorian Gardens, visitors will also find traditional games like Whac-a-Mole, Lucky Duck, Roll-a-Ball, Ring Toss, and Rising Waters. They even offer shaded picnic areas to make your summer visit as comfortable as possible. Kids of all ages are sure to have a great time at Victorian Gardens! Central Park, NYC, visitors can check out this park every summer from June to September.
